Akroteri Series: Large-scale mixed-media works. Pictured with artist: Akroteri #7, 77 x 101 inches
Through her canvases, layers of time have been transformed into layers of creative endeavor: photographic images overlaid with pigment, and earth, and sculptural elements. The texture and feeling of the site, the experience of reentering spaces created 3,500 years ago, are what the vision of this master painter has given to her world.
–Katherine Diage
(Akroteri was also exhibited at the University of California, Irvine Fine Arts Gallery and the University of California, Riverside University Art Gallery)
